Beautiful piece. I so relate, I find myself with long pockets of quiet with two out of three kids in college and the 11 year old at her dads a few nights a week, and instead of feeling gleeful or productive, I feel aimless and untethered. Joy was sneaking in a few hours of free time - too much of that time is a totally different story.
