I never say I'm a writer, only that I write. Even having had a book published, I still don't feel it gives me the right to the title - like maybe you need a whole library of books before you earn the privilege of calling yourself a writer? I of course would not feel that way about anyone else who writes, only about myself. Classic imposter syndrome I suppose.
