It’s been almost four years. I did not want it at all, but my husband had an affair and my marriage was gone after that. Of course the reasons why we decided not to reconcile were more complicated than the affair alone, but the affair was the catalyst to blow our relationship open and allow me to take a hard, cold look at it — after that, I was adamant that I move on.
