Thank you — this is such a thoughtful response and I appreciate hearing your perspective. I think this is very well-said, about divorcing from who we ourselves were in our marriages. I agree that freedom comes with forgiveness — it’s hard to be free when you carry the burden of anger. I think my daughter is pretty brilliant as well ;)
